Join us for a Northern Michigan wine tasting collaboration with Left Foot Charley and BOS Wines both in one place! These winemakers focus on vineyard quality first, knowing that great fruit makes great wine. They have very special and personal relationships with growers on Old Mission Peninsula, Leelanau Peninsula and Benzie County.
Left Foot Charley is located in the former Northern Michigan Asylum in Traverse City, Michigan. LFC is a Michigan version of an Austrian Heuriger – a place where aromatic and flavorful wine is an everyday event. Locals and visitors alike have come to realize that the non-traditional setting pairs perfectly with the atypical fruit sourcing and old-style winemaking that defines LFC. Left Foot has a committed focus on red and white wine varietals, hard cider, and sparkling wine.
BOS:
BOS Wine Garden is located in a quaint farmhouse in Elk Rapids, Michigan. Dave Bos and his wife Jackie moved back to Michigan to establish a boutique winery that utilizes some of the beautiful cool climate varietals grown in Northern Michigan that they enjoy drinking. Dave Bos worked Napa Valley for many years and converted over 300 acres of the renowned Grgich Hills vineyards into all organic and biodynamic farming. He kept many of his relationships in the Valley and is the first ever tasting room in Michigan to offer wines he makes in both California and Michigan.
